I am still here

Hello everyone
Well it has been quite awhile since I did any blogging.  Months and months.  So much has happened during that time.
In January of this year I went to see my naturopath; Kylie Cloney here in Cairns and told her I was going on a very strict diet to lose the fat around my stomach.  She asked me if I would like to lose weight and never put it back on again?  Well yes I would Kylie, thinking about the other naturopath I visited who really didn't help me at all.
So Kylie (who knows me and my body so well) suggested I eat small amounts of protein every 3 hours.  My body has always been in 'flight or fight' mode and this way of eating helps the body to know there is always food available.  It is quite like the Paleo Diet which I am a great supporter of.
So I started eating protein every 3 hours with salad or veggies with lunch and dinner.
I thought ahead and planned when I was leaving the house to always make sure I had my snacks with me.
I stuck to the eating plan when David & I went to Darwin and then when I went to the States in August.  I must congratulate myself  as the food industry (in USA) is made up with sugar in virtually everything, huge carb servings and orange cheese in or on most meals. YUK!
I feel fabulous.  I recently saw a photo of myself with a friend and realised just how much weight I had lost and how good I look....
When I look back over the 10 months I giggle and think about how easy it really was and is.
Now I did not need to reduce down too much as it was the fat around my stomach that I wanted to get rid of.  I have gone down 1 1/2 sizes which is a bit of a bugger as I wear a lot of designer clothes. Well, I really don't mind.....I just need to stabilise so I can go buy some more gorgeous clothes.
Kylie said I would lose fat from my body without losing muscle and the fat around my stomach would be the last to go.  She was right (again).  As I write this I can feel my face becoming thinner.  I can feel my stomach becoming flatter.  I am really amazed.
And to think that I will NEVER regain the weight as long as I stick to this eating plan......too easy for me as I love eating.  I walk maybe 4 times a week.  I do Yoga twice a week.  I now do exercises in the pool as the water is warm.
So I still have a bit more around the middle to reduce.  I am not in a hurry as it is coming off bit by bit. I weighed myself yesterday and the scale said 56 kilos.  It's like a dream come true.
So now I am running 4 week Weight Management workshops to help other people who are ready to work through their emotional stuff (which I did with FasterEFT and Hypnosis). If I can do it then so can YOU....
So all for now xoxoxo
